Dedicated to Pujya Gurudev, Swami Chinmayananda

Salutations to Swami Chinmayananda, who spread the awareness of bhagavad-gītā through his numerous lectures. Pujya Gurudev urged all to learn and benefit from this scripture. In Chinmaya Mission centers, students are advised to learn to chant the verses, then study and understand the meaning, and lastly transform one’s life by living the ideals, expounded by Lord Krishna to Arjuna.

Arjuna represents each one of us caught in various moral dilemma-s and challenges in this world, and Lord Krishna’s teaching in bhagavad-gītā lifts us from a state of confusion and depression, to a state of understanding and clarity about our true nature, and face the challenges with poise.

This learning tool uses Swami Brahmananda Ji’s chanting to help students learn to chant one verse at a time, and if needed, further break it down into smaller parts. Salutations to Swami Brahmananda, for his divine chanting of bhagavad-gītā.

This learning tool was originally envisioned by a devotee of Swami Chinmayananda to help students in the USA to learn to chant bhagavad-gītā. Many thanks to Mr. Jim Gaines for having envisioned this learning tool and gifted us this precious resource.

This enhanced version is an attempt to make the original learning tool accessible from various devices with an easy to use interface, and provide lyrics either in Sanskrit language or in English transliteration of Sanskrit.
